Monthly Goals

Thought I would make a page where I list a few monthly goals!!

July 2017 Goals:

1.  Stick with Ketogenic Diet. Keep net carbs between 20-25 grams per day.

2.  Hit my step goal each day.

3.  Strength train 3 times a week.

4.  Bike 3 times a week.

April 2017 Goal:

1. Stick with Ketogenic Diet. Keep total carbs around 20 grams per day.

2. Hit my step goal each day.

3. Do Step Aerobics 2 times per week.

4. Kettle bell train 2 times per week.

5. Begin biking as soon as weather is good.

March 2017 Goals:
I actually hit all my goals this month!!! 1.  Stick with Ketogenic Diet. Keep total carbs below 20 grams.

2.   Kettle Bell Train 3 times a week

3.  Hit my step goal daily

February 2017 Goals:

1. Wake up early 3 days a week and do 30 minutes on Treadclimber Not going to happen with my horrible sleeping pattern.

2. Kettle Bell Train 3 times a week

3. Ski 2 - 3 times a week if weather permits - Weather has been horrible so no skiing but really twice this month. Maybe next month.

4. Stick to Keto Diet. Should consume no more than 1463 calories, 20 net carbs, 66 g protein, & 124 grams of fat per day.



October 2016 Goals:

1. Complete Egg Fast for 5 Days first of month, may repeat last week of month

2. Strength Train 3 times a week

3. Kettle Bell Train 3 times a week

4. Walk 15 miles per week

5. Stick to the Keto Diet and have only 20 grams of carbs per day

September 2016 Goals:

1. Stick to the Keto Diet - Added in steal cut oats and more fruit last week of Sept

2. Bike 1 time a week (try to up it to 2 x a week towards end of month)

3. Kettle Bell train 2 times a week - Stuck with this one

4. Strength Train 2 times a week - Stuck with this one

August 2016 Goals: Only goal was to stay consistent with the Keto Way of Eating

July 2016 Goals:

1. Stick to the Keto Diet.

2. Walk 2 times a week. 

3. Hike once a week.

4. Bike 2 times a week.

5. Strength train 2 times a week.

June 2016 Goals:

1. Walk 2 times a week. One walk needs to be a 5k. Stuck with this one until towards end of June when the heat was too unbearable. I did walk on the treadclimber but not 3 miles.

2. Bike 2 times a week. Did not bike at all. 

3. Strength train 2 times a week. Achieved this one!!!

4. Stay within calorie range. Hit and miss with this one.


I forgot to put any May goals in. Oh well, on to June

April 2016 Goals:

1. Walk 3 times a week in the evening.

2. Workout 4 times a week.

3. Eat Clean

4. Wake up 1 hour earlier on week days

5. Eat whole foods for breakfast, no protein shakes

6. Stay within calorie range

March 2016 Goals:

1. Complete 30 Day Fitness challenge by Jenny Ford - I worked out each week just not 6 days a week. It was more like 3 - 4 days.

2. Eat Clean - was about 80/20 - better than last month

3 Wake up 1 hour earlier on week days - Achieved this one

4. Eat whole foods for breakfast, no protein shakes - Achieved this one

5. Stay in calorie range - Still failing at this one

February 2016 Goals:

1. Complete 30 day workout challenge on SP - Completed this one

2. Ski 4 times this month - Achieved this one

3. Eat Clean - was about 70/30 with this one which is better than last month

4. Stay in calorie range - I have to get control of this, this is where I am failing

Mid-December 2015 thru January 2016 Goals:

Time to get serious about my weight loss journey!!
1. Workout 3 days a week. - I did this one but show no results

2. Ski 2 days per week. - Did not do this one consistently

3. Eat clean.  - 50/50 with this one

4. Cut down on alcohol consumption to every other week. - I achieved this one

September 2015 Monthly Goals:

(Way behind on posting these since it is the 11th already)
1. Run at least twice a week for 30 minutes.

2. Work out 6 days a week.

3. Eat clean.

4. No Beer for the next 5 weeks. (I did drink beer first weekend of Sept)

5. Hike at least twice this month.

6. Run/walk 1 mile in 13.3 minutes.

August 2015 Monthly Goals:

1.  Begin Running program. Run at least twice a week for 30 minutes.
I have been doing this one each week!!

2.  Work out 6 days a week.
I am more like 5 days a week which is better than none. This one is still a WIP.

3.  Eat clean.
I am 90% eating clean each day.

4.  No beer.
Achieved this goal for August, but then Labor Day killed me.

5. Be at 8 lb arm workouts by end of month. Be able to deadlift 10 lb weights.
I achieved this goal.

6.  Run/walk 1 mile in 13. 3 minutes.
I had a few good runs but my average is still around 14.25.

July 2015 Monthly Goals:

1. Complete Summer of Strength Challenge with JessicaSmithTV.
I began but did not complete this due to feeling like crap and routine being busted.

2 Work out 6 days a week. Consists of biking, hiking, and strength videos.
I managed 4 - 5 days a week.

3. Burn 500 - 600 calories from workouts. Some I did do but without my fitbit I just don't know.

4 Stay under 1600 calories a day. This was up and down all month. I probably averaged for the month around 1750 - 1800.

June 2015 Monthly Goals: (Since I just began this blog this will be a short list)

1. Take pictures of everything I eat. I feel that if I take pictures of everything it will deter me from eating at times I really am not hungry but just bored or tired. Decided this was just too much to deal with.

2. Work out 5 days a week. This will consist of biking, hiking, and walking only this month.
Didn't workout as many days as I would have liked. Did get in at least 3 days each week.

3. Burn 450 - 500 calories from my workouts.
Some days were outstanding others not so good. Hoping to see a better burned activity rate in July.

4. Stay under 1600 calories a day.
Most of the remaining month of June were maintained around the 1600 calorie mark. Hope to really keep this under during July.
